FIRST OCCUPANTS SOUGHT FOR RUGBY’S NEW RESTAURANT QUARTER

The first tenants are being sought for an exciting new restaurant complex being launched in Rugby .

Chapel Street Dining, a multi-million pound complex located in the former Swan Centre, is set to open for business this summer, and developers Caracal Properties have instructed Harris Lamb to market the restaurant hub to potential occupiers.

Head of Retail, David Walton, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for established restaurant operators to secure a presence at a high profile new dining destination.

“Planning consent has been obtained for the restaurant quarter, and we’re able to be flexible with the size and layout of the four outlets to meet the needs of the successful occupiers.

“We’re now in talks with a number of interested parties and we’re working closely with the developers to ensure that the new eateries provide an enhanced range of dining options for the community,” he said.

A CGI of how the restaurants are expected to look

Chapel Street Dining has an excellent location in the heart of Rugby town centre, facing the newly opened World of Rugby Hall of Fame Exhibition and Museum, and has access to extensive car parking courtesy of the adjacent Clock Towers shopping centre and the Asda supermarket.

David added: “The redevelopment of the Swan Centre has been carefully planned to ensure it enhances the town centre’s offering to residents and visitors, and with a population of more than 77,000 people within a 15-minute drive, there’s a huge market to appeal to.

“This is a significant investment into the town and has been met with huge enthusiasm by the local authority, Rugby First and residents. We’re looking forward to agreeing terms with the successful new tenants and revealing them in due course,” he said.
