Harris Lamb’s resident road runner Fiona Mellor has been up to her usual insane antics, having taken part in the 10th anniversary of the notoriously tricky Blakedown Bolt.

Fi and her fellow ‘Blakedown Bright Tops’ took part in last month’s challenge, and were grateful for the glorious sunshine, even if the course, with its water crossing, was a little muddy.
Fi said: “The Blakedown Bolt is a notoriously tough 10km run through the countryside surrounding the village, and I was a little apprehensive as I’ve unfortunately had a few injury problems this year.
“However, the sunshine, the surroundings and great running-mates made for a fab experience – I enjoyed the run and surprised myself with my 57-minute time. There were some incredibly fast times this year, and as always, the atmosphere was pretty jubilant.”
