THROWING SHAPES AND RAISING MONEY: BRACE YOURSELF FOR THE RETURN OF THE HARRIS LAMB CHARITY BALL

If you know anything about Team HL, you’ll know that we party as hard as we work, and that we love to do our bit to help good causes.
That’s why we’ve decided to host our first charity ball in five years this Autumn: to let our hair down, enjoy time with our colleagues, friends and family, and raise money for a fantastic local organisation: Edward’s Trust.
On Friday October 13th, we’ll be hosting a glitzy black-tie bash at the glorious Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, offering a superb dinner, DJ, and live music from the awesome Apollo Soul.

There will also be a prize draw and an auction to boost funds for the cause.
Edward’s Trust provides holistic family bereavement services supporting children, young people and parents across the West Midlands. Services include one-to-one counselling, support groups, specialist respite bereavement retreats and children’s social activities. The charity supports more than 600 families every year.

Abi Taylor, who’s on the organising committee, said: “We’re really excited to bring back the Harris Lamb Charity Ball, and we’ve already sold half the tables.
“As a business we regularly support good causes, with previous charities including Cure Leukaemia, Help Harry Help Others and Walking With The Wounded, and when a few of our colleagues put forward Edward’s Trust as a possible recipient, we were keen to help.
“While Team HL are an energetic lot, and tend to do their fund-raising through running marathons, climbing mountains and riding bikes through seven countries over a seven-day period, we thought we’d step it down a notch this time and invite their friends and family to join in. This time, we just want people to concentrate their efforts into throwing some shapes on the dance floor. We’re hopeful that we’ll raise a significant amount for the charity and we’re looking forward to a very glamorous event!”

Tickets cost just £50 per place and tables of 10 or 12 are available. To book, email Abi.
