HARRIS LAMB TASKED WITH MARKETING WORCESTER’S EXCITING NEW UNIVERSITY PARK DEVELOPMENT
Award-winning property consultancy Harris Lamb is marketing an exciting new business, science and enterprise park on the edge of Worcester City Centre, comprising of offices and high-tech workspace.
University Park Worcester forms part of a 47-acre-site acquired by the University for future expansion and to also facilitate links with the local and regional business and science community. Made up of three campuses, the site comprises of a learning campus for the university, a health and well-being campus, and the business and enterprise campus.
Wrenbridge Land was appointed last year to develop, jointly with the University, 10 acres of the site as a business park with an innovation centre, to establish University Park as a premium location for businesses seeking high-tech facilities and superb access links with the rest of the UK.
Jacqui Bayliss, Director at Harris Lamb Worcester, said there had been an encouraging amount of preliminary interest in the site: “Which is not surprising though as this is the only new hi-tec business park development opportunity to the south west of Worcester. It has superb links to the M5 motorway and therefore to the rest of the UK, and is geographically ideally located to accommodate the security and defence sectors in the region.
“The development will provide high quality offices, research and development and light industrial accommodation, and most importantly, these buildings will be available on a freehold as well as a leasehold basis.
“This commitment by Wrenbridge and the University to deliver a high quality development offers a superb opportunity for businesses in the region wishing to expand and move to a prime location, while also proving a huge attraction when it comes to drawing new businesses to the area.”
Harris Lamb has been appointed to market University Park along with join agents BNP Paribas and KWB.
