MAKE SPACE IN THE TROPHY CABINET!
Harris Lamb’s Commercial Agency team is proud to have continued its winning streak after being awarded two accolades at the 2017 CoStar Agency Awards.
The team was named top Midlands Industrial agent according to number of instructions at the industry awards ceremony at The Council House in Victoria Square, while the man we like to call Neil The Deal Slade, has – unsurprisingly, given his nickname – been named Dealmaker of the Year.
Harris Lamb is also delighted to be joint agent on the Deal of the Year: the letting of a 592,000 sq ft warehouse at Prologis Park to Screwfix, which is siting its £50m distribution centre at the Fradley-based industrial estate.
Tom Morley, director, said: “Our Agency team continues to move from strength to strength. The market is constantly improving and demand for industrial stock throughout the Midlands is at an all-time high, while supplies are perilously low.
“We’ve overseen a number of significant deals and instructions over the past year, and recorded some great success stories, including the sale of the former West Midlands Fire Service training facility, the letting of a 140,000 design & build unit at Worcester Six on a 15-year lease to Kimal PLC, as well as reaching full capacity and record low vacancy levels at a number of key trade parks across the region.
“We’re delighted to continue our winning streak – this marks the fifth year in a row that we’ve named as a winner in these awards, and we plan to continue to live up to that reputation, which we’re justifiably proud of,” he said.
“2018 will see us further extend our reach into the East Midlands following investment into our Nottingham office. The Agency team has worked extremely hard ensure it continues to live up to the excellent reputation it’s built up over the last few years, and as always, it’s good to have that effort acknowledged and rewarded by our peers,” added Tom.
