HARRIS LAMB COMPLETES HAT-TRICK OF INDUSTRIAL DEALS TO FLEDGLING FIRMS
Commercial agents at Harris Lamb have overseen a hat-trick of Birmingham industrial lettings to small businesses establishing a foothold within the region.
The deals saw two units at City Trading Estate off Icknield Square in Ladywood, and one property on Chelmsley Wood Industrial Estate let to three start-up businesses.
Ashley Brown, of the business’ Commercial and Industrial Agency team, said that the trio of deals was an encouraging sign at a time when companies were reticent to commit due to global uncertainty.

Ashley Brown, who oversaw the lettings, said: “The small multi let market has been tough in recent months given the current economic situation and wider political unrest. These deals have been agreed with fledgling companies, demonstrating that occupiers do have intent to progress despite unstable times, a very positive sign that is encouraging to see in the current climate.
“Both of these estates have well equipped warehouse and starter units suitable for a range of businesses, and their facilities and excellent access links make them a great fit for start-ups seeking a prominent central location to operate from.”
