HARRIS LAMB’S BUILDING CONSULTANCY TEAM RESTORE CITY BUILDING TO FORMER GLORY
Building consultants at Harris Lamb have completed a £40,000 project in Birmingham City Centre to upgrade the appearance of a prestigious office building.
The team was appointed by the Landlord to oversee the external redecoration of elevations and windows at 118-120 Colmore Row, a Grade II Listed building in the heart of the city’s central business district.
Paul Wells, Director, said: “There have been a number of improvements within Colmore Row area, and this instruction followed the upgrade to the paving outside the building, which was completed last year.

Before: the property following pavement works.

After: Further to the external refurbishment project.
“As with any Listed building, the refurbishment has to be carried out within strict parameters to retain the original character of the property, and this six-week project was undertaken with great care to do just that.
“Projects of this kind are quite rare and it was a pleasure to oversee its progress as each stage was completed to see the façade fully restored to its former glory. We are extremely pleased with the results which have transformed 118-120 into a landmark building within the city,” he said.
