BUILDING CONSULTANTS COMPLETE FURTHER REFURBISHMENT WORKS AT COVENTRY INDUSTRIAL ESTATE

Building consultants at Harris Lamb have overseen a further refurbishment of a warehouse on a Coventry industrial estate.

Ropemaker Properties instructed the business to manage the refurbishment works to Unit 4 at Seven Stars Industrial Estate on Wheler Road, further to the former tenant’s lease expiring.

Marcus Andrew, who oversaw the project, said: “This is the third refurbishment project we have been tasked with managing on this estate, as the landlord takes the opportunity to overhaul its properties and improve their condition prior to marketing them to new occupiers.

“Works on this warehouse included an internal strip out, roof repairs and coating, an overhaul of the heating system, cladding repairs as well as installation of new lighting, new ceilings and external and internal decorations.

The warehouse underwent an extensive overhaul to upgrade it from its former condition (above) to an as-new standard.

Before and After: New lights, ceilings and internal decoration was carried out throughout the property.

“The project was completed within its £300,000 budget and has brought the standard of this warehouse in line with others at the site that we have overhauled, with the ultimate aim being to oversee similar refurbishment projects on the other properties at the estate as they become vacant.

The opportunity is now being marketed by Harris Lamb’s Industrial Agency team.
