BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION SECURES LEASE AT SHREWSBURY RETAIL PARK

Harris Lamb has let a unit at a popular Shrewsbury retail park to the British Heart Foundation

The business’ Retail team was appointed as sole agent for Arrow Point Retail Park last year,charged with securing tenants for the Brixton Way site.

The retail park, which boasts occupiers including Tile Choice, Poundstretcher and Charlies, is a well established, modern out-of-town retail park, which is what DavidWalton, Head of Retail, said had attracted the British Heart Foundation toposition its latest store at the site.

Having agreed to a 10 year lease at the park, the charity has moved into Unit G, a 12,421 sq ft retail unitwhich will help raise funds by selling good quality clothing, books and othergoods donated to the cause.

“The neighbouring businesses, which include B&M Stores and Matalan, enjoy high levels of footfall, and with 176 parking spaces at the park, it has become apopular destination with local shoppers, hence the BHF’s interest in the unit.”

The business has a further three units of varying size to let, ranging from 4,563 sq ft and 13,689sq ft. 

All opportunities have already been awarded planning consent for bulky goods retail, making them ideal for DIY stores, kitchen and bathroom showrooms,office supplies retailers or home and pets specialist stores.
