PROVIDER SOUGHT TO PURCHASE 12 AFFORDABLE HOMES IN BANBURY

Harris Lamb has been instructed to secure a social housing provider to purchase 12 affordable homes in Banbury.

Kendrick Homes has purchased the five-acre land parcel off Warwick Road, where it has outline permission to create a bespoke development, and has retained the business’ Residential Land team to source a suitable buyer for the collection of affordable homes.

The Broken Furrow site is part of a development of 46 homes allocated within the local plan, 12 of which have been earmarked for affordable housing.

Chris Jones, Director, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for a registered provider to partner with an established developer with a reputation for delivering high-quality homes.

“Banbury is a highly desirable area, and this development is situated close to local amenities, with pedestrian and cycle access throughout, making it a family-friendly, well appointed opportunity for the right provider.

“We anticipate high levels of interest from housing associations wanting to add this site to their portfolio.”
