A £1million Drive-Thru Costa Coffee outlet in Minworth has reached practical completion, with building consultants at Harris Lamb having handed the property over for fit-out prior to opening.

The business was appointed as project managers for the  building at Minworth Trade Park, tasked with bringing an outlet comprising both drive-thru and dine-in facilities to the estate.

Paul Wells, Director at Harris Lamb, said: “The Building Consultancy team has been responsible for the project management of a number of commercial buildings at the site, and we were delighted to be instructed by the landlord, CBRE Global Investors, to oversee this latest development, which brings something completely different to the park to complement the other businesses located there.

“The trade park is ideal for such an operation, with a new access point off Stockton Close situated directly opposite the Asda entrance off the busy Minworth roundabout, and a huge amount of passing traffic.

“Our role involved managing all works within the £1,076,000 project to ensure they were completed to the required specification, within budget, and met all building regulations.”

Power is now installed at the completed building, which includes ordering and collection barriers and totem signage to advertise the site, and fit-out is anticipated to take around a month before it opens to the public.
