HARRIS LAMB PLANNER DELILAH GREEN CELEBRATES MRTPI SUCCESS

Harris Lamb is celebrating another of its team achieving Chartered status, with planner Delilah Green having successfully passed her APC qualification to become a RTPI-qualified planner.

Delilah, who joined the business’ Planning Consultancy in October 2024, achieved her APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) qualification further to undergoing a thorough process to demonstrate that she works to the highest industry standards.

She worked closely with Harris Lamb’s in-house APC RPTI mentor John Pearce, who said he was incredibly proud of Delilah’s performance.

John said: “Chartered Town Planners represent the gold standard of planning practice, and achieving that status is a time-consuming and arduous process involving a minimum of two years’ on-the-job experience, followed by a detailed written submission to demonstrate competence development in order to gain chartered status.

“It is a challenging process as Delilah had to manage her workload whilst preparing her submission and she has shown real dedication ever since she joined the business in pursuing her goal to expand her understanding and experience within the sector and further her career. She has proved herself worthy of recognition from employers and clients for her skills, expertise and professional practice.

“We are delighted that her hard work and determination has paid off, and she should be extremely proud of her achievement,” he added.

Delilah said: “I have been committed to achieving this qualification ever since I entered the planning sector, and further to starting on the APC pathway in my previous role, I’m thrilled to have fulfilled my goal with Harris Lamb.

“Harris Lamb has always had an excellent reputation for supporting team members in the advancement of their careers, and all of my colleagues, particularly John Pearce and Simon Hawley have given me their time and provided encouragement and guidance throughout the process to help me achieve this milestone. I can now focus on furthering my experience with full confidence and look forward to the challenges ahead,” she added.
