AGENTS MARKET EIGHT-ACRE EVESHAM COLLEGE SITE FOR RESIDENTIAL REDEVELOPMENT
Residential land agents at Harris Lamb have been instructed to sell a former college site in Worcestershire to be redeveloped into a scheme of up to 100 new homes.
The former Evesham College campus on Davies Road extends to more than eight acres, encompassing all of the college buildings and its entire parking provision.
James Willcock, of Harris Lamb’s Residential Land team, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for developers seeking suitable sites to meet the demand for further quality housing in Evesham.
“Located just a short walk from Evesham town centre with and its amenities, the site is surrounded by established retailers and parks and benefits from excellent public transport links to and from Worcester, Cheltenham and Stratford- upon-Avon.
“A scheme had previously been designed to utilise a smaller portion of the site for residential development, with a 4.15-acre plot earmarked for 57 two- and three-bedroom houses, but it is now proposed that the entire campus could be redeveloped with the potential to provide circa 100 properties, and and positive pre-application discussions have been held with Wychavon District Council,” he said.

James added: “With demand for quality housing remaining high throughout Worcestershire, we are confident that there will be a great deal of interest in this opportunity from developers keen to fulfil that requirement. As such, we are currently accepting both unconditional offers, and those subject to planning consent,” he said.
