HARRIS LAMB OVERSEE SWATHE OF NEW LETTINGS AT HARTLEBURY TRADING ESTATE FURTHER TO £101M ACQUISITION

Agents at Harris Lamb have overseen the letting of several multi-let industrial units at Hartlebury Trading Estate further to being retained by its new owners, Bizspace.

The 171-acre site was acquired last year by Sirius Real Estate’s UK operation BizSpace for £101million, growing the business’ portfolio by 18 per cent to 8.3 million sq ft.

Originally built by the Ministry of Defence as an RAF maintenance base, Hartlebury Trading Estate is a freehold multi‐let industrial park with over 1.5 million sqft of commercial accommodation and additional open storage plots.

Harris Lamb and Fisher German were retained as joint agents for the site by the new owners.

Neil Slade, Director at Harris Lamb, said: “We are delighted to have been retained as agents for this estate, having represented the interests of several landlords for over 20 years and being the reason for us setting up our Worcester office.

“As Worcestershire’s largest commercial estate, the park has consistently low vacancy levels due to its wide-range of  accommodation with sizes, specifications and budgets to attract new start-ups and multi-nationals alike. With the Estate’s excellent strategic location and first-class Estate security, we are delighted to have seen so many new tenants coming in to the Estate in recent months.

“These benefits, teamed with the park’s secure, landscaped site make it one of the most popular within the Midlands, and its acquisition by Bizspace led to a surge in enquiries, resulting in a number of new tenants coming into the Estate.”

Lauren Allcoat-Hatton, Director at Harris Lamb, added: “There are a few high quality units remaining at the site, including a best-in-class new build warehouse of approximately 44,000sqft with 800KVA, 10m eaves and large yard, with high levels of interest from potential occupiers.

“Despite challenging market conditions, the ability of Bizspace to offer creative packages attracts occupiers and where we have a wide range of units to varying budgets, we look forward to continuing to oversee enquiries and deals under the Estate’s the new ownership.”
