HARRIS LAMB PRE-LETS 18,200 SQ FT CONGLETON WAREHOUSE TO EXPANDING PACKAGING SPECIALIST

Harris Lamb has secured Sachet Factory as the latest occupier at Clowes Developments’ commercial estate Viking Park in Congleton.

The business has signed a new 10-year lease on Unit D at Viking Park, directly opposite its existing premises.

The latest expansion marks another significant milestone for the growing packaging business, providing Sachet Factory with additional space to support its expanding operations, product development and future ambitions.

With demand for innovative and flexible packaging solutions continuing to grow, the new unit, spanning 18,200 sq ft will enable Sachet Factory to further increase its capacity and take advantage of new opportunities within the sector.

One of the key ambitions for the additional space is the introduction of new moulds and packaging, adding different product categories to Sachet Factory’s ever-growing range of capabilities. This exciting development will enable the company to offer customers an even broader range of products and solutions, complementing its established sachet packaging operations.

Andrew Groves, of Harris Lamb’s Stoke office, said: “Sachet Factory’s decision to expand into a unit directly opposite its existing premises, a 9,000 sq ft unit, offers significant practical benefits, allowing the business to increase its footprint while remaining in its established location. Viking Park provides an attractive base for the business, with excellent transport links and a growing mix of warehouse and commercial occupiers.”

Sachet Factory’s expansion comes as Viking Park itself continues to expand, with Clowes Developments progressing plans for a further 10,000 sq ft industrial unit on the scheme.

Marc Freeman, Director at Clowes Developments, said: “The new unit is being developed speculatively, with the flexibility to be subdivided into four units of approximately 2,500 sq ft, demonstrating Clowes Developments’ confidence in Viking Park and the continued demand for high-quality, smaller industrial premises across the Cheshire East region.

The new development will complement the existing offering at Units F and G, which are approaching full occupancy as interest in the scheme continues to build with most of the units now ‘under offer’.”

Viking Park is becoming an increasingly attractive location for businesses seeking high-quality industrial accommodation in a well-connected location, with the ongoing development reflecting the strength of demand in the local market.
