SIX INDUSTRIAL UNITS LET IN SIX MONTHS AT POPULAR WEDNESBURY ESTATE
Harris Lamb has let six units on a Wednesbury industrial estate in just six months – leaving only two remaining at the estate.
The business’ Commercial Agency team has let a total of 46,420sq ft at the Old Park Industrial Estate, Kings Hill, to three occupiers, all of whom will use the site as a storage and distribution hub.
French manufacturer Nord Composites has taken on 23,000sq ft, while Clevedon Fasteners took on 16,250sq ft and Midlands Associates 7,170 sq ft,
Thomas Morley, of the Agency team, said each of the new tenants had been attracted to the estate because of its quality and access links.
“Demand for industrial space in the Black Country is high and there is a desperate shortage of new and modern industrial stock within the region. As such, the landlords undertook an extensive refurbishment of Old Park to bridge that gap and provide the highest specification possible for tenants.
“Add to that its excellent access to the M6 – junction nine being just a mile away – and Birmingham International Airport, Old Park is an attractive proposition for tenants, especially to occupiers seeking a prime distribution central location.
“There are now just two units – each under 8,000sq ft – available which are ideal for businesses looking to manufacture and export from a central UK location.
