HARRIS LAMB MARKS A HAT-TRICK OF INDUSTRIAL FREEHOLD DEALS FURTHER TO OVERSEEING BRIDGNORTH FACTORY SALE

A property company has purchased the freehold of a Bridgnorth factory off an asking price of £2.5m in the third of a hat-trick of recent industrial deals overseen by Harris Lamb.

The business’ Commercial Agency team was instructed to sell the former Swegon premises on Stourbridge Road extending to approximately 47,420 sq ft on a 1.9-acre site.

Matthew Tilt, Director at Harris Lamb, said: “Further to a strong level of enquiries a property company successfully secured the purchase of this prominent property.”

Neil Slade, Director, added: “This marks the third such sale our Commercial Agency has overseen in recent weeks demonstrating continued confidence despite the challenging economic environment.”

The sale of the Stourbridge Road property follows two further industrial freehold sales this year; the first a 9,672 sq ft unit on Cartwright Road, Bromsgrove, to leading UK battery manufacturer Fogstar for £1.2m, and that of a 18,908 sq ft opportunity on Fryers Lane, Bloxwich, to Strut Direct.
