NEW RESTAURANT OPENS IN RUGBY’S DINING QUARTER
A new Indian restaurant has opened its doors further to the signing of a ten-year lease on a prime unit in Rugby’s Chapel Street Dining Quarter.
The Mayuri is the latest restaurant to take space in the Quarter, located within the town’s Swan Centre complex, in a deal overseen by Harris Lamb’s Retail team.
The owners of the restaurant, which serves authentic South Indian food, signed the lease for the premises at the beginning of this year, and following an extensive ten-month fit-out The Mayuri opened its doors last weekend.

David Walton, Head of Retail for Harris Lamb said: “This is a statement of intent for Rugby: at 3,900 sq ft, the restaurant is one of the largest in the town, and that, combined with the length of the lease and the investment into to its incredible fit-out demonstrate just how much confidence the owners have in the region.
“The whole experience offered by The Mayuri is superb. Located on the first floor, with over-rooftop views towards Rugby Art Gallery and Museum and Rugby School from the dinning terrace, the restaurant offers next level dining in the town centre.
“We are looking to add to the scheme with further quality restaurants, creating a destination for dining within the region,” he added.

Harris Lamb agreed the letting with joint agents, FHP and HTC.
