HARRIS LAMB SECURES GUILDFORD SITE FOR FUSION FOOD CHAIN EXPANSION

Harris Lamb has secured a prime shopping centre presence in Guildford for fusion food chain Wrapchic as part of the business’ ongoing expansion plans.

The popular eatery will launch its Guildford branch in the food court of The Friary shopping centre this week.

Having been retained by Wraphic at the beginning of 2012 by founder Mahesh Raikar and tasked with identifying and acquiring a number of suitable sites across the UK, the retail team has helped secure a strong national presence throughout the country, which now has 21 outlets, including three transport hubs at Birmingham International Airport, Cobham Services and Beaconsfield Services.

David Walton, head of Retail at Harris Lamb, said: This is a fantastic location for Wrapchic. The Friary is avery popular shopping centre with a high calibre of outlets including Zara, Urban Outfitters and Topshop, and its food court enjoys a great deal of footfall.

The second-floor outlet is neighboured by other well-known brands including Costa and KFC, and Wrapchic will be a good fit with the other food court options, We are now continuing our work with the business to identify other high street and retail park opportunities to further grow the brand,” he added.

“Fit-out at the site is underway with an anticipated launch later this week.

Harris Lamb’s Retail team has previously secured high street locations in Walsall, Merry Hill, Meadowhall in Sheffield, Solihull, Preston and Milton Keynes, as well as all three transport hubs. Wrapchic has also launched two international outlets, both in Dubai.
