Jordan Cooper

Assistant Ecologist

Jordan joined Harris Lamb as an Assistant Ecologist in November 2025, holding a master’s degree in wildlife Conservation from the University of Chester and bringing 18 months of experience as a seasonal ecologist within a national consultancy.

Jordan has a thorough understanding of preliminary ecological assessments (PEAs), Bat potential roosting feature (PRF) identification, Bat emergence surveys and Great Crested Newt eDNA collection, and is well-versed in data handling, statistical analysis, and GIS mapping, all of which are vital skills with green credentials, ecological accountability and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) now essential factors in the planning and execution of commercial and residential projects.

Jordan’s previous experience haas enabled him to carry out consultation for high-profile clients including the Historic Railways Estate and National Grid, and lead a team during Natural England’s 2024/25 English Ecosystem Survey (EES) season.
