HARRIS LAMB ANTICIPATES STRONG INTEREST IN CHESHIRE INDUSTRIAL OPPORTUNITIES

Commercial agents at Harris Lamb are marketing a number of industrial opportunities in Cheshire, stating that the region is fast becoming the commercial hotspot of choice with potential occupiers.n

The business anticipates a swift take up of the warehouses, located in Congleton and Crewe as occupiers seek well-appointed, quality properties with good national access links.

Mike Burr, of Harris Lamb’s Stoke office, said that the team were already fielding high numbers of enquiries for the newly vacant opportunities.

“As with much of the UK, there are insufficient numbers of quality industrial properties to keep pace with occupier demand, with landlords routinely investing in refurbishment works to improve the standard of vacant units to meet it,” he said.

“With so many commercial estates in the region at capacity, we get consistently high levels of enquiries into availability in the region, and when units become vacant, they inevitably become hotspots with potential tenants. Since being instructed on the newly available properties, 10a Daneside Business Park in Congleton, and Units 4 and 15 Weston Business Park near Crewe, we’ve experienced significant interest due to the location of both estates and the specification of the buildings available.

“Daneside Business Park has been at full capacity for some time, demonstrating the high quality of the space, the prominence of its industrial location and its close proximity to regional and national motorways, and Unit 10a is a prime opportunity; a gated 1,229 sq ft workshop which has undergone a full refurbishment and benefits from loading access, offices, wcs, kitchen and parking to the front of the estate,” Mike said.

“We’ve also been instructed on two opportunities at Weston Business Park in Crewe; Unit 4, a fully refurbished 5,384 sq ft warehouse with new cladding, roof and roof lights, with an electric loading door and an eaves height of 4.9m, and Unit 15, a brand-new single bay steel unit with an electric, 4m eaves height and LED lighting.
