BUILDING CONNECTIONS: HARRIS LAMB HOSTS WOMEN’S NETWORKING EVENT IN TELFORD

Harris Lamb’s Telford office hosted its first female-focussed networking event today, connecting women in business from Telford and its surrounding areas.

Building Connections with Harris Lamb was organised by Jo Williams, who heads up Building Consultancy operations at our Telford office, and aimed to bring together professional women from the region and encourage them to reconnect and build new relationships.

The event took place in the elegant surroundings of the Hadley Park Hotel, bringing 25 likeminded female commercial property and business professionals together to celebrate the region and the professional services sector.

Jo said: “This week has seen a whole raft of female centric events take place in honour of International Women’s Day, and we wanted to play our part. Our informal networking event aimed to help build new connections within the region, while providing insight into how attendees could, and should, elevate their personal and professional brands on social media to build their profile and reputation courtesy of our fantastic guest speaker, Samantha Wiltshire from Vertebrae Media.

“This was a very well attended and received event, with excellent feedback. We’re now looking to host a further networking event to continue to build relationships in the region this autumn.”
