Harris Lamb have acted on behalf of Imperial Commercials Ltd in both the 2010 and 2017 rating lists, during which time the client has seen significant growth in its property holding.

Harris Lamb’s rating team identified the property as being over assessed and submitted an appeal to the Valuation Office Agency. Following a period of negotiations and the preparation of a statement of case the Valuation Office agreed to reduce the assessment.

As a result of Harris Lamb’s action the client’s ongoing charge was reduced and a refund from the billing authority was issued.
