HARRIS LAMB OUTPERFORMS NATIONAL AVERAGE RENT COLLECTION FIGURES

Property management specialists at Harris Lamb have reported consistently high rent collection rates, with the team outperforming the National average statistics released by property data specialists Re-Leased.

While the business sets itself internal targets of collecting more than 80% of rents on behalf of its property management clients within 14 days of the due date, its success in collecting rents within 30 days of the due date is higher than the landlords and agents’ statistics reported throughout the country on a month-by-month basis.

According to annual data compiled by Re-Leased, the national average collection rate within 30 days of due date for landlords and agents is 96.7%, while Harris Lamb consistently achieves over 98%.

HARRIS LAMB OUTPERFORMS NATIONAL AVERAGE RENT COLLECTION FIGURESRob Kennedy, Head of Client Accounting, said: “We have always taken pride in our successful collection statistics, which we believe reflects the correct ‘first time’ approach to billing, ensuring that all of the information, contacts and figures are accurate, to avoid queries and unnecessary delays in correcting errors from the outset.

“Our team works hard to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our client’s tenants, which in turn creates mutual respect and trust that enables us to deliver the service and collection levels that we have become known for.

“These relationships, teamed with those we have with enforcement agents, if required, to follow CRAR (Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery) legislation have created an efficient approach, and we’re proud to be performing above the sector average and remain committed in maintaining that reputation,” he added.

“The Harris Lamb client accounting and credit control team work hard on a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, and pride ourselves in delivering a high level of service that our clients have come to expect from our property management team,” he added.
