HARRIS LAMB INSTRUCTED TO OVERSEE CONSTRUCTION OF £1M DRIVE-THRU COSTA IN MINWORTH

Harris Lamb’s Building Consultancy team have commenced work overseeing the construction of a £1million Drive-Thru Costa Coffee outlet in Minworth.

The business has been appointed as project managers for the  building, which will be located at Minworth Trade Park, comprising both drive-thru and dine-in facilities.

Paul Wells, Director at Harris Lamb, said: “We have overseen a number of building projects at the trade park and we are delighted to have been appointed to deliver this 18-week, £1,076,000 contract, which brings something completely new to the estate.

“As project managers for the scheme, we have been tasked with overseeing all works and ensuring that they meet all regulations, are completed to the required specification and are delivered on budget and on time. The landlord for the trade park, CBRE Global Investors, aims to hand over the Drive-Thru early in the new year with it opening to the public shortly afterward.

“This location is ideal for such an operation, with a new access point off Stockton Close situated directly opposite the Asda entrance off the busy Minworth roundabout, with a huge amount of passing traffic. The completed building will include ordering and collection barriers, totem signage to advertise the site.

Hinton D&B have been appointed as contractors, with the building expected to be completed in February.
