HARRIS LAMB SECURES GAP PLASTICS AND McDONALD’S AS OCCUPIERS AT GREENLIGHT KINGS HEATH

Commercial agents at Harris Lamb have overseen long-term lettings at a new sustainable warehouse and trade unit development in Kings Heath.

Greenlight Kings Heath, a joint venture between real estate investment and asset manager, Delancey, and property development and investment company, Coltham, is one of five UK sites delivering first-class mid-box logistics space, with the 70,000 sq ft Warstock Road site comprising of a 30,000 sq ft warehouse and nine multi-use/trade units ranging in size from 3,583 sq ft to 7,167 sq ft.

Further to the 7,298 sq ft and 5,503 sq ft lettings to Howdens and Screwfix, respectively, last year, Harris Lamb has now secured two further occupiers for the site- GAP Plastics and McDonald’s.

Tom Morley, who oversaw the lettings, said: “There has been a great deal of interest in Greenlight Kings Heath due to the first-class warehousing and trade units available, the site’s excellent sustainability credentials and its superb strategic location close to key UK transport links. 

“We are delighted to have secured two further occupiers at the site, with GAP Plastics having signed a 10-year lease on the 5,400 sq ft Unit 1B, and McDonald’s taking on Unit 2A, a 5,500 sq ft facility which will house a dark kitchen.”

Joint agent for Greenlight Kings Heath, Colliers, has also secured flooring contractor Headlam as the new occupier of Unit 2E, a 5,500 sq ft unit.

Tom added: “With Greenlight Kings Heath having only reached practical completion a matter of weeks ago, we have been extremely pleased with the response to the development and are confident that more occupiers will be secured in the coming weeks and months.”
