BATHROOM RETAILER SIGNS LEASE AT KIDDERMINSTER COMMERCIAL ESTATE

National bathroom retailer Easy Bathrooms has become the latest occupier at a Kidderminster trading estate.

Since being refurbished earlier this year, Haynes Point, high-quality trade counter units and warehousing in a prominent roadside position on Stourport Road, has attracted interest from new occupiers with the retailer being the latest business to secure a unit at the estate.

Easy Bathrooms has signed a 10-year lease to site its latest showroom in Unit 1, a 2,850 sq ft trade counter/warehouse opportunity at the trade park.

Sara Garratt, of Harris Lamb’s Agency team, said: “The ongoing dynamic within the industrial market whereby the demand for good-quality warehousing far outstrips supply means that the landlords of upgraded estates like Haynes Point are reaping the rewards of their investment.

Demand for industrial opportunities throughout the Midlands continues to surge, and as such landlords are continuing to upgrade buildings at sites across the region to meet the ongoing requirement.

“Since Mileway recognised that an overhaul of the units at the estate would attract a new wave of occupiers, a number of businesses have relocated to the site, attracted by the prominent trade park position, convenient access links and standard of the refurbishment.

“Easy Bathrooms are now fitting out their new premises and are due to open imminently, which leaves just one trade counter opportunity, Unit 2, left at the estate,” she added.

Unit 2 sits between Easy Bathrooms and Paintwell and extends to approximately 2,850 sq. ft.

Haynes Point benefits from a high volume of passing trade, being located on the A451 Stourport Road, the main arterial road between Kidderminster and Stourport Upon Severn, close to Kidderminster town centre.
