HUWS GRAY SIGNS LEASE AT MINWORTH BUSINESS PARK

Agents at Harris Lamb have let two units at a Birmingham commercial estate to a leading UK builders’ merchant, with the site now nearing capacity.

Huws Gray has signed a six-year lease on Units 8J and 8G2 at Maybrook Business Park further to being awarded a significant contract. The units will be used for administration and distribution purposes.

Ashley Brown, who oversaw the deal said: “Further to a successful contract award, Huws Gray was seeking a central Midlands site with excellent UK-wide access links to meet its fulfilment requirements.

“Maybrook Business Park is well-established estate set in a prime commercial location within easy reach of Birmingham City Centre via the A38 and the motorway network courtesy of the M42, M6 and M6 Toll, all of which lie two miles away. With accommodation at the site ranging from 2,000 sq ft to 52,000 sq ft, the estate provides high-quality solutions for a wide range of trade counter, industrial and logistics businesses.

“Huws Gray have signed six-year leases on both units, with unit 8G2, at 4,086 sq ft, being earmarked for office use, while 8J will form the business’ distribution centre. The 8,360 sq ft unit has recently undergone refurbishment and benefits from a 4.5m working height, electronically operated roller shutter door with car parking and a loading area, making it an ideal fit for the company’s requirements.”

Ashley said that just three of the 36 units at the business park now remain available to let, with floor plates of 2,879 sq ft to 8,545 sq ft.
