FORMER KINGS NORTON PUB SITE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY PLACED ON THE MARKET

The site of a former Kings Norton pub has been placed on the market with the residential land team at Harris Lamb, having been identified as suitable for a number of potential uses.

Offers are expected to be in excess of £1,000,000 for the Navigation Inn site on the A441 Redditch Road/Pershore Road roundabout. A 1.1-acre brownfield site close to local amenities, the site was placed on the market this week.

James Willcock, of Harris Lamb’s Residential Land team, said: “This is quite an exciting instruction to start 2019. There are limited brownfield development or new-build opportunities in the immediate area, and we anticipate high levels of interest from developers keen to capitalise on this site.

“This plot is occupied at present by the disused pub, its out-buildings, garden and car park, and is a stone’s throw from Kings Norton Green, local shops and amenities including an adjacent primary school, and just half a mile away from Kings Norton railway station.

“While a planning application has yet to be put forward for the site, the land is considered suitable for a number of uses, including residential development, retail or care,” he added.

James said that as sole agents for the land, Harris Lamb had prepared a suite of information for interested parties available at request.
