KEIRA REDFERN APPOINTED TO RICS MATRICS UK MIDLANDS COMMITTEE
Harris Lamb is proud to report that Keira Redfern, a Graduate Surveyor within our Lease Advisory team, has been appointed to the RICS Matrics UK Midlands committee, which supports young professionals launching their property careers.
The community, established by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), is designed to offer surveyors in the early stages of their careers, be they students, apprentices, trainees, and those qualified for under ten years, providing guidance, advice and networking opportunities to advance within the field.
The community aims to help shape the leaders of tomorrow and operates 27 committees throughout the UK tasked with offering peer support groups, mentoring, free online Continuous Personal Development (CPD) opportunities, networking and social events.
Keira, who joined the business last year, said that she was excited to have been appointed: “As a graduate in the industry, I’ve seen the value that the RICS Matrics brings in supporting early career professionals both in terms of building a strong network of likeminded peers and in offering support and guidance to help individuals develop their skills and advance their careers.
“It’s a very important platform, and I’m honoured to have been invited to get involved in helping deliver it. I’m looking forward to contributing, meeting new people and playing my part in shaping the Midlands sector,” she said.
