SELWOOD SECURES HIGH SPECIFICATION SEVEN-ACRE IOS IN STOKE

A seven-acre logistics and industrial outdoor storage site in Stoke has been let to a water handling specialist further to high levels of interest in the opportunity.

Commercial agents at Harris Lamb were instructed alongside CBRE to let or arrange a sub lease assignment of the former industrial site on Garner Street, a 7.18-acre best-in-class site.

The opportunity, which has been refurbished to the highest specification, offers superb access to the national motorway network, with junctions 15 and 16 of the M6 both lying less than ten minutes away.

Selwood, part of The Workdry Group, have now secured the site as part of the group’s property strategy and long-term growth plans, ensuring that the business continues to support its customer base with integrated water solutions.

Mike Burr, of Harris Lamb’s Stoke-based Agency team, said: “There was a great deal of interest in this site thanks to its strategic UK location and its excellent specification.

“Having been refurbished and developed into a purpose-built industrial open storage and truck stop facility, the property offers a 29,400 sq ft industrial unit fully kitted out with inspection pits, four 10-tonne gantry cranes and petrol/ad-blue tanks, with the site benefiting from 98 trailer bays, 42 tractor unit bays, and 110 car parking spaces.

“Security is paramount at the site, with the whole area surrounded by perimeter fencing and security barriers at access and exit offering Automatic Number Plate Recognition.

“With the facility ready for immediate occupation, we experienced significant enquiry levels, with the lease quickly being reassigned to Selwood as part of its long-term growth strategy,” he added.
