HARRIS LAMB MARKETS IDYLLIC VILLAGE SITE FOR FOUR-HOME DEVELOPMENT

Residential agents at Harris Lamb are marketing a land parcel in the village of Weldon with planning consent for four new homes.

The 0.4-acre site on Stamford Road is located in the attractive conservation stone village of Weldon on the edge of Corby, and is positioned close to local amenities.

Demand for the site has been so high that a final offer deadline has been put in place for this Friday.

James Willcock, of Harris Lamb’s Residential Land team, said: “With demand for new homes continuing to surge, we have had a lot of interest from developers in this opportunity. Located on the eastern edge of Weldon, opposite the cricket pitch and overlooking a protected open space to the north, the land parcel boasts an idyllic village setting.

“The village provides excellent amenities and is perfectly located for access to good local schools and employment areas. Corby town centre is two miles away, with its railway hub providing transport to London in just over an hour, along with other UK routes,” he said.

Planning consent was granted for the site by North Northamptonshire Council in January 2020, awarding permission for the construction of four three-storey semi-detached homes with a total floor area of approximately 5,700 sq ft.

The properties are anticipated to be spread across three floors with internal car ports, and to feature a lower-ground garden room, a kitchen and living space on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the first floor.

James added: “The combination of existing permission, the beautiful location, and the convenient access links and amenities will appeal to developers wishing to construct properties in a select semi-rural site.”

Unconditional offers are invited until 4pm on Friday May 27th.
