STOKE SURVEYOR IS AWARDED AssocRICS QUALIFICATION

A surveyor at Harris Lamb is celebrating after being awarded her AssocRICS qualification after four years of study. Becky Colclough, who is based at Harris Lamb’s Stoke office, now plans to complete her studies to become a Chartered Surveyor.

Becky joined Harris Lamb in 2008 as an office trainee, and upon deciding that she was keen to advance her knowledge and experience, the business offered to fund her studies and provide in-house training to support her in her ambition.

Becky, who specialises in markets within North Staffordshire and South Cheshire, said: “I’ve been studying for this for the past four years and I’m really pleased and proud to have become part of RICS. The whole team has been incredibly supportive in helping me to achieve this.

“It’s a stepping stone to becoming a chartered surveyor, with another four years of hard work ahead,” she added.

Richard Fantham, director of Harris Lamb, said: “We are delighted and proud of Becky for reaching this landmark. This is a relatively new qualification and is the result of a great deal of hard work on her part, and is thoroughly deserved.

“Becky will now continue her studies with our support. Harris Lamb has always placed great importance on investing in and developing its employees, and Becky is an example of what this kind of support can achieve. She is a dedicated and respected member of the team, and a real asset to the business,” he added.

Becky is the latest employee at the business to qualify, with her colleagues Suki Kaur and Alex Eagleton, both based at Harris Lamb’s Birmingham office, both achieving their MRICS qualifications earlier this month.
