HARRIS LAMB APPOINTED TO MARKET WORLD CLASS TECHNOLOGY FACILITY IN STONE

Agents at Harris Lamb have been appointed as joint agents to market two Stone industrial buildings ready-fitted out for high-tech processes and production.

Acting for Renishaw plc , the business is marketing Buildings 1 and 2 Brooms Road, on the established Stone Business Park.

Both properties have been upgraded to provide a world class technology facility.

Andrew Groves, of Harris Lamb’s Stoke office, said: “Having sold these buildings to Renishaw five years ago we are pleased to be involved again.

“The buildings offer unique high-quality specialist manufacturing and research space, having been fitted out for manufacturing technologies and 3D printing with laboratory testing facilities, and grade A quality offices.

“Such a specialist fit out makes these properties extremely attractive to companies requiring a high-tech manufacturing and research environment and offer significant cost savings compared to taking more traditional industrial space and undertaking fit out,” he said.

Building 1 has a floorplate of 9,085 sq ft-38,451 sq ft and Building 2 offers 42,125 sq ft of accommodation.

In addition to a warehouse, offices and reception, Building 1 offers conferencing for up to 100 people, a technical services area, communications centre and reception with yard areas providing parking for 73 vehicles.

Building 2 is arranged over two floors, with the ground floor dedicated to specialist production areas, laboratory rooms, offices and a refectory, and the first-floor housing high quality open plan and individual offices and conferencing facilities. The building has parking for 70 cars.

Building 1 can be let as a whole or potentially in parts, while Building 2 is available as a whole, with lease terms to be negotiated.

Andrew added: “Stone Business Park has enjoyed significant success over recent years, attracting a wide variety of occupiers due to its strategic location adjacent to the M6 and its easy access to Stafford and Stoke on Trent, and we anticipate strong levels of interest in these very specific industrial opportunities.”
